Well I recently picked up a used Powerbook G4 17". For the life of me I cant figure out where to install the fucking ram. I wanna upgrade to 2gb (2x1gb) from the current 1gb (2x512mb). Ive searched youtube, apple support, and googled it but cant find a diagram or video to help me install the new ram. In the past there has been tabs or screws to remove the keyboard and pretty much everything you needed to instalr there (airport card, ram, HD, etc) were there to do. Before I go forcing the keyboard off and possibly breaking some keys off, I wanna be sure theres not another way. The 15" models had a small compartment under the laptop above the battery that was only held on by 4 screws. If anyone has any information or can find a video or diagram, please let me know!

Randy, thats the 15" powerbook. Easy fix on that, its got a little comparment to unscrew and pop in. I think this ones going to be under the keyboard but theres no release latches or screws to unscrew. Im hoping i dont have to uncase this motherfucker. I might just take it to CompUSA or Best Buy. This shithole of a town doesnt have an Apple Store. If anyone else has info, please advise.
Edit: Figured it out! Was under the battery afterall! Thanks for the help guys.
