my little lad shut my pc down to restart it, but before he did he put it onto clinet, which was in somewhere to do with networking
now when i restart it i cant do one single thing a pop uu comes on screen, and says username and password, i never set a password i have tried all the passwords i use none work

Nah thats a bios password not the windows password.

cheers to thoes who helped the pc now working , only it wont let me into my accont that i set up, so unless i get in there i have lost all my doucments and pics{not the porn its safe}

You can always put that hard drive into another computer, set it to be the "slave" drive, and get whatever documents or data you want off of it. There is one very reliable password changer for the admin account that I have used many times on windows 2000 - runs off of a floppy disk that you boot from, I will look into it and see if it is also effective for xp. If not, there is no reason for you to lose any data if you do what I suggested.

Or burn a Knoppix cd and boot up in linux from the cd - grab the files you want and move them to another drive, floppy or burn them to disk :) Then just shut down the pc, take out the cd and reboot back to windows.

Swifty, go into control panel, user accounts, then user accounts again.

Choose your account (your old one), then click "password reset".

Choose a new password.
