I am looking to put some videos that I have on DVD-R onto YouTube. Can anyone recommend me a free program that could convert specific chapters / segments to a format that could be uploaded to YouTube? Also, what would be the best format to convert to?

I am basically clueless with video stuff, so any help is really appreciated. Thanks in advance...

That's a link to Nero 7. It includes Nero Recode which you use for that.

Your gonna wanna have your video converted over to MPEG4 (Divx, Xvid) format. I would look around on CNET downloads for free Rippers and Encoders.
