Fucking Priceless!
Haha...I would love to see the genius team that came up with the marketing package for this restaurant, dot heads have always had cultural translation problems when it comes to marketing to westerners, but in Mumbai (Bombay)? Looks like they were trying for good, old fashion, shock value.

My very good Indian friend said that some parts of India have pretty large jewish populations. I was pretty surprised.
This is hilarious. It's like they've gone "Well he defiled our holy symbol, let's fucking defile his image". Bizarre yet classic.

Yah, it's true. I had a lot of Jewish clients in the diamond business that lived and had offices in India, India is a big cutting and polishing center for the world diamond trade.
Where there's jewelry there's Jews, as we used to say at my marketing firm, "We put the Jew in Jewelry", haha. I know that somebody is going to get offended by this comment but it's true.

Asians just don't see what the big deal is about Hitler. There was a guy in Busan who opened a bar called Hitler. The pictures have been all over the web. He eventually closed it, saying "If a westerner started a bar called Tojo, I'd be upset."

Problem is not the fact it's full of Swastikas but it's named after a 20th century tirant who executed ethnic cleansing operations in the most cynical way, turning it into an industry.
I would understand if this place would open up in the US, Sweden or Russia, where freedom of speech allows it, but in India? My biggest fear is that it will send the wrong message to uneducated Hindus making them think Hitler's good.

Surely a Hitler themed restaurant should be in an underground bunker with menu items including; Herman Goerring Salad, Eva Braun Cocktail, Reich Stag Chops, Suicide Souffle, Gentile au Gratin and Uber of the day. Musical accompanyment could be the Heinrich Himmler Skiffle Experience featuring Matrin Boorman on the Jews Harp.

Really? Cool! I like Archeology. I used to be in some sort of Archeological extra-corigular activity (sp?) in school when I was in 8th grade and we went digging in different places arround the country and stuff. I never knew half of the Tel-Aviv University's campus IS an archeological site, it actually has its own museum with mummies (Cnaani, not Egyptian) and sarcofags and stuff...
