View Full Version : Weird FF Problem

I installed Firefox 2, and once I did...when I type in a URL and it drops down the history, if i click it it just puts it in the box but doesnt go to it. On the old version of firefox, when i clicked it, it would go to that url. I thought it was just FF 2, but at work I installed version 2 and it still goes to the selected url when you select it from the drop down box. I reinstalled and tried different themes? I dont get it.

you broke the internet.

have you tried clearing all the caches? i've noticed some oddness with ff2 but that's to be expected i guess.

Make a copy of your bookmark back up in your firefox profile in windows explorer.

Hrm...mine does the same thing you are talking about - I don't think I've ever paid attention though - i just hit enter and keep going.

i don't think i ever just clicked it and it went to the site. i just do what pops said and clicked right thru. now i'll probably notice it though

Thats the name of the show, I knew the line but couldn't remember what it was from.
