Fraid not, theyve tightened right up on police checks for employment since the Ian Huntley/soham murders.

Anything involving working with children needs an enhanced check, where even a caution for a minor offence means you aint got a hope in hell.

One thing that is mental though, if you want to train as a solicitor/lawyer you can do so, but when you qualify you can only work for the cps/prosecution not the defence!!!

Swifts, not a good fucking break. I am still awaiting mine from Scotland-Online after numerous weeks. They are claiming it is my surname that is causing them grief! They've asked for all sorts of additional info now and after your report I'm fucking cacking myself. Especially as I have been all day in the Town Hall at a license hearing that dragged on and on.

Good luck with your job search. Have you tried Wembley Stadium or thought about pre-applying for the Olympic Village stuff?
