Yes yes, the forum looks good from this side. But how good is it from the Admin side?
I am thinking of switching to vBulletin for a UK Football Forum. Is vB any good to work with? Easy to install? Potential pitfalls or problems?.

It's for a lower league. No Welsh teams in there I'm afaraid Jo. Gets a massive hit volume though. My problem is bandwidth and I do need to get a dedicated server for it.

The only downside to vbulletin is you have to pay for it
EVERYTHING else rules about it...
You get support, you get customization - it is truely the most configurable forum I have ever used. I've used all the free shit, phpnuke, postnuke (papaskin.com is pn), xoops and many others...
There is shit I can do in VB that I can't do in any of the others...Very good finite control over everything. If you don't mind forking out money for it---i totally recommend it.

Money for vB is not a problem. It's all the other crap that goes with it.
Thanks for your comments. I will gather funds and go for it.
