I downloaded this about a week or so ago, and this shit is awesome. I would recommend it for anyone who digs rootsy-sounding reggae and more traditional African sounds, too.
Anyone who wants to hear it, just send me a PM.

It's probably easy to download on Soulseek. How did you plan to transfer it?

Yeah, you can probably find it on Soulseek. I got it from piratebay.org. I had just never seen it or heard it before, and it's really good.
I can send it through AIM or something.

Disregard my PM, I don't have AIM.

Trojan really has been putting out some top of the line stuff. I'm not familar with the box set you speak of but will have to give it a shot.

If you want some great early reggae, go on Soulseek and join the room "early reggae." You have to select "create room" and then type the name in.
when did this box set come out???

when did this box set come out???
I think this one was realeased with the rest of them. It's hard to tell because some of the sets were released in the U.K. only.

I'm not such a big fan of the Dub sets, myself.
I do really like Trojan UK Hits, and the trojan 12" box set...
But the two best 'collections' they ever put out in my opinion ( i've got them on vinyl ) were 20 Reggae Classics : Music that inspired a generation. There was Volume 1 and Volume 2. I should zip them up and post some links.

I really don't dig the "rapping" over top of the old shit. It's just not my thing. I love reggae ...i love ska ...i love rocksteady .... but i really don't like the rap stuff.

i don't think you're thinking of dub...download king tubby's "duke of dubs" and tell me you feel the same way.
