I burn a lot of cd's and one thing i've noticed is that the volume isn't the same for every song I have depending on where I downloaded it from I guess. Is there any program or something that I can download or get that would help make all the songs I burn to a cd a little more equal? This way I'm not constantly turning the volume up or down.

depending on what program you use (roxio or nero) you can normalize the mp3's thru there before burning them.

I think it might have something to do with the bitrate, although I'm no expert ... just a dirty downloader! :)

i'd say its got alot to do with the recording quality and theres nothing you can do about it. it comes down to the volume of the mastering just after the recording and the recording levels themselves...
