interesting - the attachment is a name and not an image - did you make it that way or was that the default?

That's how it happened. I presumed it was like the old board where uploads show as an attachment.

Yep..my other forum decided to disable the 'attachment' ability and just told everyone to host their images in a gallery and link to the url....

I have no idea - but every single image is being saved to the database (which can be changed to the hard drive) when using the attachment feature...might have to think this one out a bit more.

I uploaded the image to my managed attachments in my user profile, then came to this thread, clicked the paperclip and dragged the image down to the attachments section, then clicked Insert Inline

Go to Settings...

Forum Settings - Choose "Standard Editor"

then uncheck Enable Enhanced Attachment Uploading

It sets it to where it doesn't allow attachements - just URL when you click http://skinheads.net/forums/images/editor/insertimage.png

Testing...yep - that puts it back to the old school - but denies attachment.

This also puts back the old school way of clicking the paperclip and adding attachments.

To keep this - I would have to turn off the WYSIWYG editors and just use the standard editors for everyone..then I could effectively turn off the advanced Managed Attachments section...that gets us back to the way things were...or you want / like this new way?

I think they have a bug when it comes to attachments and what not for posting images..... We shall see. Not going to go live till after the 10th of Jan. They are releasing a major bug fix then.
