A Westmoreland County judge will have to decide whether jurors can hear evidence that two men charged with attempting to kill a New Stanton bar patron last year were skinheads. Jury selection in the attempted homicide trial of Edward Robert Locke, 34, of West Mifflin, Allegheny County, and Todd Clair Sager, 29, of New Stanton, is set to begin today. Westmoreland County prosecutors on Friday filed a motion asking that Judge Richard E. McCormick Jr. allow attorneys to present evidence linking Locke and Sager to a hate organization. Sager is accused of being a regional leader for an organization known as the Keystone State Skinheads, and law enforcement officials contend that Locke is a member of the white supremacy group.
