Witness testifies in white pride tribunal hearing

A witness in a Canadian Human Rights Tribunal hearing said Thursday he pretended to be a woman in an attempt to find out who was responsible for the B.C. White Pride website.Shane Martinez of Toronto, a human rights activist, outlined his e-mailed correspondence with a Kelowna man almost three years ago, while testifying before the tribunal hearing in Penticton.Martinez said he launched an investigation into the B.C. White Pride website and a similar White Renegade website in March 2004. He pretended to be a 25-year-old woman named Rachel from Kingston, Ont. who had grown sympathetic to the white pride cause."I provided fictional information in this case, in order to provide a profile which was pertinent to the investigation," he said.READ MORE..
