View Full Version : Do tattoo's hurt?

I was thinking about getting a really tough unicorn, with some clouds in the background and maybe a wizard standing on the clouds. Oh yeah and a lightening bolt!

Do tattoo's hurt? Should I just get a butterfly on my ankle or a tribal band?

Thanks!

(The above post is what I hope to god doesn't fill this area. Hahaha)

A butterfly & tribal on your lower back would look sweet.

Not if you work your ass first. Gradually move up to the leg chair.

It's one of those that has ball shapes every so often. It's like a chair leg butt plug leg thingy or something

Oh my God, wizards are sooooo sweet. I think my next tattoo is gonna be Marvin the Martian dunking over the Tasmanian Devil, though.

Now, y'see, Marvin was OK, but when you throw in a Taz I reach for my "special" machine, also known as the Dremel tool.

Months ago, AustMade mentioned some guy (who used to work in Pete Well's tatt studio) who filed down his own teeth with a Dremel:eek: . Think it was a Dremel anyway. The image leaps to mind when the words "special" and Dremel occur in the same sentence...

Don't dis the Zip...there are certain people in this world. People who understand and get Zippy, and people who don't. I personally have only met a handful of those who get the Zipster. His off the wall references. alone would be enough to give a 2006 Yale grad a run for their money. Kids today don't get Jack Palance..they don't get Chi Chi Rivera...Carmen Maranda..etc. I had some dude in a three piece suit eye me up and down with a scrunched nose at Cold Stone creamery..then when I got out of line waiting for my order he about fell over seeing my arm. I got "Oh my gods...holy cow's...that's amazing...you're awesome" crap from him for Zippy and Bloom.
I wrote Bill Griffith himself with photos of my work, he said it was amazing and only a handful of people have Zippy work but mine coupled with Bloom County was a true homage to Zip and him as his creator. I am 100% happy with my ink...
So NO dissing my Zippy!
