In 2001, Matchbook Romance formed as the Getaway and released an ep on their own "Smalltown Rivals" then made a DIY album called "If All Else Fails" which was never officially released, and the 4 songs here are from a sampler they sold at shows before they decided not to release it. I think the decision was when they were deciding to sign with Drive Thru which never happened.
The next thing, the "Nada Demo" was recorded for Epitaph in 2002 which later led to them being signed. I don't really know much of the Matchbook Romance album titles, so those are untagged. I'm also unaware of the track orders (they made these tracks availible for download via mp3.com).
