I REALLY NEED!
i need the Gear selector wheel for inside the headset, where you attach your gear cables (the roller). it needs to be the brass splined type to suit a series 2 (series 3 splined type fits).
Throttle Tube and the shaft to suit (splined type) for a series 2. (these two MUST be from a series 2 as the tube diameter and shaft length are different to all others)
THE "WOULD BE NICE" PART:
2nd hand expansion/power pipe for a lammy (i'm dreaming but hey..)
and to complete the dream i'm having, a 28mm dellorto Phbh and manifold to suit a 175 ( i know that wont happen)
i really need the gear roller, the throttle sleeve/tube and the splined shaft for the s2 the most.. i had mine but i lost them somewhere and after 12 months of looking they still havent showed up again.
can anyone help me out?

I'd tell you people you could get them off of that i know...but shipping to Oz for some of that stuff would probably cost enough as to offset just getting them locally.

I was going to say the same thing, but it is worth a try. My friend Dean has a storage unit full of lammy shit he pulls off during restorations and such. Hell he might even try to sell you a deanspeed kit for your scooter, cause why would you wanna ride when you can FLY..ok I am being gay now

i know nothing of this dean speed? whats the dealio? i'm interested in everything usually
my friend dean has been restoring lambrettas since before I starting hanging out with him 14 years ago. He is the only person in this world that touches my lammy and I live 1500 miles away from him right now. I will forward your requests to him with your contact info (email if you would like) and I am more than sure he has something reasonably priced. As for the deanspeed.com its under construction right now, but he designs kits, etc for racing and daily driving

Deanspeed 190cc kits are designed for Pre-200cc lambrettas. They are bolt-on kits for your LI125,150,TV175.... and are basically a bored-out TV175 cylinder. You don't need to swap out your LI style crank for a larger one, which is nice.
I think they are similar to the Mugello kit. Dean is a good guy, though, and well known and respected in the scooter scene.
You need Series 2 headset parts, eh? i'll give your list to my friend who has a garage full of lambrettas and we'll see what i can do.

cheers mate, and if he's got an expansion chamber he aint using he doesnt want much for i'd definately think about it. postage costs a bit but getting stuff from USA is a whole lot cheaper than getting stuff from euro or britain.

PS: whats his deanspeed kits like? hows the cost comparing to mugello..
so by you comparing to mugello over the imola you're saying no reeds? also is it sleeved or plated/lined bore or just the way the gods made them?

I still have my 175 kit on my bike and will soon be upgrading to the 190 kit, I have not heard any complaints from people about his kit or any repairs/restorations. I hope that link works. I noticed his website is still under construction.

the link worked ok thanks. got the email aswell. thanks. i saw lambretta works had the same things for headset i needed a few months back (still do) and they do a pretty good price, i'm just a bit strapped at the moment and going on the hunt y'know.
no problem ,like I said his storage unit is stacked to the ceiling! I guarantee there is something in there he can get rid of. I will have to find the pictures of that place I have cleaned that storage unit so many times

this guy i was dealing with in holland for Heinkel bits sent me some pics of some parts and in amongst all the pics he sent me was one of a van towing a trailer, both full to the brim with heinkel engine cases, just the engine cases, and i mean this guy had every bit. imagine what the rest of his house looks like.. ha ha.. at worst i've had 6 bikes at/and under/ my house and an extra 4 engine cases laying around and i thought i was bad.. ha ha

funny you'd mention heinkel engine cases...i was talking to a guy yesterday who offered to trade me his Heinkel for one of my Rally 200's. His cases are thrashed up and it sounded like new ones were going to cost him TWELVE HUNDRED bucks... how much were yours going for?

I don't know how they compare, really ...i think a little better quality. It's just a bored out cast-iron, no sleeve or lined. No reeds - uses an upgraded intake manifold that comes with the kit, i think.

get it, i'll pass you onto the dude. i got cases so i dunno, it was just a pic he sent me, but this dude in holland has everything. failing that the heinkel club of germany is grouse. dunno about this $1200 shit, dunno what he wanted but he was fair and had a truck load ;)
its a heinkel dude, it dont get much cooler than a heinkel. you need it mags, you have a lammy, now get the heinkel and you wont need anything else. i stopped buying scoots when i got the heinkel, if someone offers me a shed find old vespa i can rat for the missus to paddock bash, or a series 1 for myself thats all i'll buy now.
