What's the best city to chill in? I'm want to take off for a week in December and get out of the cold of NY.

How far south you want to go? I would recomment Atlanta, Savannah, Nashville, Gatlinburg, Charleston, or Houston.

I've never been a big fan of VA. I'm looking to go farther south like GA, AL, or SC.

If you want AL, go Birmingham or Mobile. Rest of the place pretty much sucks.

Other places please see above post.

I heard Mob-City is good times; what's good down there for kicks?

If youre talking about Mobile its not that bad. Gets boring at times. I usually run between here to Pensacola, and Biloxi for the casinos. Beaches are less than an hour away but are pretty boring during the winter. We do get some pretty decent shows down this way, and have some ok venues for what we got.

If you do want to head down this way, let me know, Ill get you in touch with a few people that can show ya a good time.

#1 You go to Orlando for Mickey Mouse-period so yeah they "see you coming" and you get fleeced-Its Disney.

and
#2 where the fuck have you been in Florida??
Its fucking cheap as hell!!!!!!!!

I lived there and go down 2-3 times a year on the "good side"(West Coast/Gulf side)

The only place you can drink or stay cheaper is Vegas........Theres
CONSTANT hotel/attraction discounts ESP in the "off season" as well as tons of bars where theyre practically giving drinks away.......Hell even Key West is cheap to drink(its all the other shit that gets pricey)

Unless youre kicking it with the stuck up Jews in Boca Florida is one of the cheapest "getaways" in the States........

Houston? What the fuck are you thinking? That place is a toilet.

Birmingham ain't got shit unless you hit it at the right time. Cheapest pint of NewCastle i've found is $3.25 and forget buying anything over 6% or larger than a pint.

If you go to Florida i suggest the St.pete,Tampa area. I was just there and im not a fan of Florida but i really liked it there! I liked the beach at Treasure Island. I also went to Orlando to visit my grandparents and its too touristy there. I was bored! Just my opinion.

Depends, what are looking for other than warm days? It's still effin' chilly in ATL in Dec, nothing like NY but cold none the less.

Well, I lived in Florida for five years and go there every November for Thanksgiving, so I'm looking for something a little different. I want to go to a place with a good music scene, decent eats and a place where I'm not going to go broke in the span of a weekend. I also lived outside of New Orleans when I was younger, so I don't really feel the need to go back there. I also lived in Charleston, SC for a year.

I've been to most of the places mentioned so far as well; I guess I'm going to have to look around a bit more before I make any plans.

m advice would probably be ATL or somewhere, lA is just a pretty state, been a few places on a trip before...avoid MS at all costs. not shit here...especially camp shelby and hattiesburgh...lol buddy of mine here summed it up best for the whole experience. "the whole place sucks. you drunk the water, it does somethin to ya, makes you either wanna fuck your sister or go kill someone violently!" lately had that strange urge to reach out and choke someoone...

I didnt list one single fucking spring break "spot" AND you said yourself aside from being in Jacksonville when you were in diapers and visiting a few times youve never traveled around Florida.......SO HOW ARE YOU QUAILIFIED TO GIVE FLORIDA TRAVEL ADVICE???????
Your trip to Disney with Mommy & Daddy doesnt mean shit.

Oh and I do doubt everything you say btw as when you first showed up you couldnt name a single fucking person in Tri-state(who you claim youre down with) and it wasnt until very recently you started vaguely "naming names" but only after getting called out yet again and the names you claimed you were down with:
A) are all well known people who anyone coulda found doing a Google search
and 2) they say they dont know you...........and these are guys Ive known for over 15 years.............

I actually did some work in Mississippi in a state park; I actually had a good time, but yeah, there really wasn't shit to do there. I partied in Biloxi a long time ago, but I haven't been there in probably 8 or 9 years.

If anything I'll probably end up in either Charleston or somewhere in Georgia; I got family in the ATL area and I know the scene there is pretty decent, so that's what I'm leaning towards.

im a bit biased with the whole time ive been in ms...we've only gone to hattiesburg. and aside from a couple bars and a walmart, i really havent seen jack around here worth talkin about...some decent lookin women at the local college, however nothin worthwhille. and bein locked down at camp shelby kinda ruined this place for me for awhile, too lol
