I haven't got any idea on what type of tatoo I'll be getting. I was thinking of getting a celtic symbol on my arm or a shamrock with some boxing gloves hanging off of the ends in Irish colours.

I got one as my first tattoo and although I got it waaay to small i'm quite happy with it. (Damn tattoo artists really should tell people like me who had no clue, that small tattoos will look like crap after a couple of years)

I usually just drink heavily through the entire thing and bully the artist into listening to what I want to hear, that way it seems like a party and I forget how much it fucking hurts.

I just got my left hand done real thorough-like, fingerwebs and all, and I've never been in as much pain. Lemme get setup for it and I'll post some pics.

Especially designs with a lot of detail work - as celtic ornament usually is - can start look like crap after a couple years! means somebody standing a couple steps beside you just notices a dark spot of undefinable something instead of the design...
