Ok - since the site is a little new and we're still waiting for the Domain name to work from all spots of the world - if you haven't received your activiation letter - PM me and/or Nutter and we'll set your account correctly...we've had some not working well as of late so just let us know!

You already know about the domain name for me, but the activation e-mail came right away

Ok, there were 27 people that had not gotten their activation letter - the majority of which were hotmail/yahoo and aol.com email users (not all of ya though). It's possible the email from skinheads.net is being filtered or blocked by your email company.

If you don't get the activation email with in 2 hrs, more than likely that's what's up - our system sends it nearly the same time you submit you registration. So let us know if you're not getting it - Private messages will still work for you.

Thanks!

Just to let you know - I'm still getting database errors when I try to come in through the domain name. I'll test again later and/or tomorrow.

For anyone who knows someone who's trying to get on and can't yet, if they're on Windows you can help them.

Tell them to go to c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc or c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc and open the file called "hosts" with notepad.

Paste the following lines in at the end:
#----------------------------------------------
65.99.207.114 skinheads.net
65.99.207.114 www.skinheads.net
#----------------------------------------------

They'll need to edit the lines a tad - there should be exactly 7 spaces after the 114. (board edits out the extra spaces when I post 'em...)

Then the site will work for them.

Just remember if you do this - and our IP changes, You won't be able to get back here and you'll never know why until you remove that setting - so in sorts - it's not always wise to change your hosts file
