I know things are real sticky there right now and with the high level of insurgant attacks its probably likely that this was a legit accident.....allthough it doesnt really look to be.

My other half is in Afghanistan as we speak and from what I know Canada is rapidly pulling out..........I'll forward this to him and see what he says about it and if he ok's it I'll post what hes heard........

In any war theres bound to be mishaps. As tragic as it is , the soldiers most likely acted due to a credible level of concern.

Shit happens.
I haven't heard anything about Canada coming home though, I thought they just agreed to increase the number of boots on the ground they had as part of their UN/Nato obligation?
BTW, tell your man I said wassup, let me know if he needs ANYTHING.
If you can find out what FOB he's out let me know :)
