Hmmm....that it was. I met that dude back in the 80's at a tattoo convention in Texas. Of course, he was totally down with Hammerskins:rolleyes:.....or at least he was when we were talking to him.

I was being sarcastic. I'm sure he hated us, but he was cool when we met him.

i love slapshot even though i am a drunk. it was just a little disturbing with the rumors flying around about he made jokes/drawings about 9/11. but romors are rumors so i really dont believe anything until it is said to me in person.

Stars n Stripes is good, but SLAPSHOT wins every time! It does not matter if ya hate Blast Furnace or not, if ya think they're stuck in a rut, or if you don't like the raggin' on NYC.
SLAPSHOT did "I'VE HAD ENOUGH" and a shit load of other great hardcore trax.
SLAPSHOT rules!
Cheers

I remember he looked at us and couldn't get away cause we had already seen him. We started talking and gave him our business card and he was like "oh hey, cool." Didn't seem like a bad guy. I did tell him that Slapshot's second record (name escapes me know), which had just come out, sucked. He agreed.

I think that's true.
He is not now, but sadly he was a hairdresser for Vidal Sasson in Provincetown (one of the biggest gay communities in the world) He is not gay and Provincetown is a very nice area, but still..........
And either way, Slapshot is one of the greatest bands ever.

slapshot wishes it was Negative FX. No comparison. The older Boston Crew stuff like Gang Green, SSD and Jerry's Kids is probably the best Punk ever.

Slapshot sounds fuck all like negative fx for a start, they sound like last rights, seeing on how that was the inbetween band the songs are longer, more melodic and slower with a streetpunk/oi infuelence which kinda leads on to slapshot.
Neg fx rule though.
Can't fuck with Chunks though, what makes Last Rights better.

I won't argue with ya buddy.. they don't sound alike but I'm just saying, slapshot can't live up to the quality of Negative FX.

yeah i get you now, slapshot can't live up to neg fx, would have loved to have been there at their last show with mission of burma.
"fuck you we're not gonna stop" haha, the bouncers must have been shit scared.
Slapshot prove their 2nd natureness when it comes to them covering the last rights song "no guts,no glory" and making it sound piss weak.
