I work with a Japanese girl. The other day she walked past my desk, placed some packaged cookie on it, and exclaimed "Gift!"

I thought that was very nice. Think I'm going to give her some red bean paste.

Those WERE kids, the authorities were NOT amused, and the producer of that segment damn near landed himself in prison - along with half the celebs on the show. Producer got a 5 year suspended sentence (think 5 years probation - but a guarantee of 5 years in the slam if you mess up).

Oh, and the kids were supposed to be farting in his face, not sitting on it.

thank god. i thought that was acceptable behavior in japamese culture.

does anyone know if there is a way to get japanese television in the U.S. i would watch that shit all day.
