Miami had too many fuck-up plays that were at important times. Once teams get close to the end and they are loosing by just a lil always seem to just randumly start fucking up when its most important not to.... drives me crazy

Yea thats for sure, the pressure got to em, the one where the dude snapped the ball to well....no one, wtf is that shit. The interception at the end just sealed their fate. I think the new rules on when the time starts and shit messed them up, as I think it did a few other teams this weekend.

FSU just plain wanted it more, the second half was sick, and Geno Hayes is the fucking man! Much respect to Miami, something tells me we'll be seeing them again in Jacksonville for the ACC Championship game.

Yeah, I don't understand why the 'Noles didn't work the clock more to their advantage, on their second to last possesion. The only reason I could figure is that they felt more comfortable with the defense on the field.

They ran what, 6 plays and left 4:15 on the clock...if it wasnt for that sack/fumble i bet miami coulda put 3 up and sent it to OT.

That game was boo boo....too many mistakes on both sides. What can you expect from two undisciplined teams? Overthrows, dropping every other snap...if either one of those teams had less talent they would get embarassed. The quality of players is the only thing keeping them up.

Like I said, I just think they thought they were better off with the defense on the field. Miami's secondary is scary.

Hedge was at the tailgate party selling pics of him with the team..
He was overheard saying "Without me these boys would be nothing".
Although it was not reported to the media after the game the team beat him to a pulp and tailgaters shoved a foam finger up his ass.

Eh, i just figured it was big game/first game jitters. Once FSU got into the groove of things they got the shit under control. And FSUs defense is the best in the land. Buster was laying fuckers left and right...next derrick brooks right there.
FSU had poor play selection. They kept throwing those bullshit screens when they need to throw down the fucking field...i was gonna lose it.
But the game was good.
ps. FUCK THE FLORIDA GATORS.

Honestly their passing yards werent to impressive either. Usually if its low rushing, its gonna be high passing yards, but that didnt happen last nite.

That what opening games are like... when you don't play a glorified high school team like the rest of the nation.

About the rushing yards for FSU, last year when our offensive line was injury ridden, they went to the screen pass, to take the place of the run, it works pretty much the same, but you aren't gonna have rushing yards, so just looking at the bare stat is misleading. Everyone down here knew it was going to be a defensive battle, no suprise in low yardage stats to any FSU or UM fans. Some fools on the message boards were talking us over them by like 3 TD's which was just bullshit talk, I think this game played out exactly how 98% of the fans expected it to.
With that said, I didn't see anything that made me more comfortable about my boys. Unless we put on a football clinic against Troy next weekend, and not even really then, will I be comfortable going into the 16th against Clempson.

People shouldnt bitch about the total yardage, FSU and Miami have 2 of the best defenses in the country, so low yardage and low scoring game isnt such a shocker.
And the clemson game is going to suck, we NEED to get our shit together on offense. But im stoked for Buster to go headhunting again, im telling you the next derrick brooks right there.

look i'm not bitching about how both teams didnt gain more then two yards the whole game...i have just never seen it before. Usually a team has an average of 120 yards rushing....then you would think that the passing stats would be crazy because of the almost no yards, but no-the passing was average. its not a big deal, i'm just saying that i never saw it and it makes me think about the future of football

Haha, yeah, the league has gotten alot better, although not as far as most would like. People down here can't stand for instance, Duke, who refuses to even try to compete. Fuck, Wake Forest has even stated it is trying to get better!
