Thats right. The commmie bastards we are, we are going on strike... most likely. All those kids gotta report this Wednesday., but thats it. After Wednesday the schools will be closed till further notice... At least thats what happened during the 03 strikes.

Only do it if you're sure that you can (and will) do a better job than the local school system. Also bear in mind that you will have to promote your child's involvement in group activities, to help develop normal social skills.

Homeschooling is a good option if A. you truely have the time...and B. they have friends and do sports or some other activity that builds social skills n shit. If you can do that, and handle teaching your kids all damn day, its a way better option.

Trust me, my wife is more that capable. The only way he goes to public schools is if we move to Dripping Springs/Johnson City/Fredericksburg area where the schools are decent. Austin schools consistently fail, as does the Texas system as a whole. And he'll be plenty involved in social activities....it's dove season now and deer season is just around the corner.
