This just looks like a distro to me, but then again, I read no German. Are they going to produce records at all or is rock-o-rama turning into simply a distro?

After Herbert died, it seems that Torsten Lemmer from Rock Nord / Funny Sounds bought the rights to the Rock-O-Rama catalogue. If you compare the Rock Nord mailorder to this one, they are extremely similar. Right now it is more or less an attempt to capitalize on the name...

I'm sure that in addition to repressing albums, Lemmer will release albums under the Rock-O-Rama banner; it's still a name that represents quality music to many people.

...'Tho not quality packaging, pressing, or anything else for that matter, heh. Really hoping that he'll reissue some of the more obscure later albums, especially the great stuff that was licensed from Skull Records.

I enjoy the rock o rama CDs because they follow a simple format, are very unpretentiously done and down to earth in a sense.

I hope they do produce some music in the future but that it sticks true to the more classic sounds.

Fullon I think you may be right there was a RockNord ad in the packet but excellent service in all...recommended just no credit card payment available as far as I can see...just bank transfer....

Don't know WHEN you are moving, but in March, there's a big venue in Berlin with bands like Section 5 and Argy Bargy. 3 days of beer and Oi! :)
Not as political as what Warzone28 was talking about though. ;)

And yeah: we'll probably run into each other sooner or later.

I should be there but it is at the end of February to be a little more precise. Whatsoever I would never order anything at ROR since they were and still are a big Rip Off - then rather DimRecords

Too bad most of it is now on CD. I still have most of my 1st pressing Rock-O-Rama RAC music from the 80s. Back in the day ordering from these guys sucked cause sometimes you wouldn't get them for 2-3 months, luckly some stores in NYC use to sold them. I wonder if they have gotten better about that.
